The theme for the OSEAL Leo Forum 2017 is 'Engage, Enrich, Empower'
(A) Engage
Without interaction with each other will make human being very much less like what we are now. Engagement is always an important competent, especially beyond thei own comfort zones. This allows generation of new ideas. In the same time, with new relationships formed, it will also encourge sharing of resources, wich will efect in limizing the effort but maximizing the outcome. Leo is the youth program of the largest service organization in the world, the Lions Club Intenational. All Leos should find themselves automatically bonded with ither Leos, even from different regions adn countries through the common
(B) Enrich
Self enricment is a key for personal development in today's world of global competition. Itis the only way to make a person shines amongst other. However, it is a component often take lightly in the Program, wich maxmizes the attetion on both social services as well as fellowship. Leo Program does provide the youth an opportunity to experience leadership, enchance communication skills and so on. However, there are much more wich can be done, and that includes moving beyond the boundaris of Leo Program.
There are many ways for us to retain current Leo members or to attract yout outside to join us. However, many would admit hhat the most attractive. This should therefore be another core component of the Leo Program if it intends to remain relevant amongst.
(C) Empower
Teh world today is commonly talking about yout empowerment. Leo, as the youth program of Lion Clubs International cannot avoid addressing this issue. Manny would misinterpret yout empowerment as our intention to overpower the current leadership. But the truth is ironically the complete opposite of this perception. We do not aim to overpower the current leadership, but instead we hope to complement their effort in building a better future by giving our insights. It is about two-way communication, and it will involv Leos giving out their oponions. It does not necessary means positions, authority and so on. And we hope that the opinions can then be heard accepted in a positive manner in order to move the orgazation.
